I've had Dan and Glenn out a few times for A/C install, valve replacement, and furnace repair. Each time they've provided quality workmanship, detailed explanations, and exceptional customer service. Heather in the office is also great to deal with! As a Journeyperson certified Carpenter I highly recommend Bergs to everyone in the Saskatoon area.

I have relied on Dan and his partner, Glen, for years for furnace and plumbing issues, and I've always had great service, which me brings me peace of mind.
Just genuinely helpful, honest, and professional. They installed my latest furnace, but there was no upselling - just the facts of what I needed. Heather in the office is lovely, as well.

I've had Dan from Berg's out several times for both maintenance and emergency service (including on a stat holiday!), and it's been an good experience every time. They're knowledgeable and reasonably priced, and very friendly. Occasionally I won't get an answer if I call the office close to closing time, but if I don't, I email, and they're responsive to that.
I recommend them to anyone who asks for a plumber or a furnace person.

Bergs are terrible at returning phone calls. We shouldn't have to leave multiple messages to get a call back. I don't recommend Bergs if you want customer service, or people who know what they're doing.
They installed a new unit on the outside of our house, with out checking the A coil on the inside of the house.. they didn't match. This caused the A coil to leak, causing the unit to freeze over with ice... they recommended we simply thaw it out every time it happened and continue to use as normal.
We're tired of their responses, they didn't seem to know what the problem was after coming out multiple times to add freon. We went to a different company, they were able to diagnose the issue right over the phone! They came in and talked about all the issues, and explained in good detail how they were going to fix the issues... the problem they encountered was that Bergs should never have installed our outside unit, with out looking at the A coil on the inside; they didn't match!!.. they totally screwed it up. They should never have installed the outside unit with the type of A coil we had! Now because Bergs told us to just thaw out the unit every time it froze, the outside unit failed from all the ice.... we have called Bergs, they still haven't returned our call.
The new company is working around Bergs, and are looking to replace our outside unit on warranty; which looks like its no problem.
Edit: my standards??! These are basic things a professional should know. At minimum return calls from a qualified technician, don't have your receptionist call who doesn't seem to seem to know what she's talking about. JOB plumbing and heating were much better to deal with and gave us some easy payment options.
