Wow! What a great business!! Efficient and responsive. The staff are amazing and so helpful. My new furnace was installed in a matter of a few hours and the room was left clean and tidy. The staff worked diligently and quietly….hardly knew they were here! So happy to have a new furnace with a good warranty for our frosty winters! Such an excellent local business. I am so grateful for everything. Thank you!

Steve was knowledgeable about changing the cartridge in tub tap. Unfortunately my initial conversation with lady, as to the fees they charge, she left out 3 additional charges that I’d be charged ( driving time to my house from previous job, van use, use of tools)…I did not receive the bill showing the charge of cartridge purchased. I should have been able to see the price of cartridge. All in all the the 1.5 hr charge (40 minutes was out getting cartridge ) come to $372.25…had I known all these charges I would have found a private plumber. I think it’s a bit of a scam not disclosing charges until work is done…I would give the plumber a 5 star but office reception wasn’t honest when asked

Action plumbing gave me so much grief from the beginning of their work on my home move disconnections and reconnections. To ultimately catching Steve bust a plastic part on my furnace leaving me with possibly having to put in a new furnace on my home (I will find out next week). Steve, a journeyman plumber with a family business installed my heat tape amd insulation the wrong direction to where the plug outlet was and I was charged for him to remove and redo the 20 foot water line heat tape with insulation I corrected him on after they got back from their hour and half lunch break that I was billed. The apprentice who took out my toilet flange decided to keep pulling on the flange for a while after he took out the 2 screws at the flange when I told him it’s still attached to another pipe as it shud be still glued to the rest of the pipe, i was billed for that time as well.
The plumbers left garbage both times they worked on my home until the last day they came when i called the office of my concerns including the horrible work on the heat tape and lack of insulation on my pipes and used the wrong tape for the heat tape which was for duct work. The heat tape installed was a fire hazard as they crossed over itself and didn’t follow manufacturer recommendations of placement with the tape itself and the heat sensor. At the end of the service I caught Steve at my furnace gouging with force with his adjustable wrench at a plastic part on my furnace with an angry expression, I thought to myself he will break that but didn’t question him and asked if he was almost done. He said yes and proceeded to close the gas valve, he was closing a gas line when it should have already been closed prior to him leaving the second time he worked because it wasn’t connected to the meter that was getting installed and energized later in that evening on the 3rd time he worked on my gas line, which would’ve been an open gas line venting directly into my home from the new meter install outside by SaskEnergy unknowingly because I wasn’t home when SaskEnergy got to my home at 6pm. SaskEnergy doesn’t enter the home for work inside the house on the gas. So when I did go home at 6pm to drop off my dog and leave to babysit my grandson, I talked to SaskEnergy and said the gas is on but to not turn on the furnace until the broken part that was red tagged is repaired (the part Steve broke).
This company will leave you stressed if u know about inspection and codes or the pipefitter trade, they over charge and work a slow pace to over charge and come back to gouge you more into billing time on simple easy access work. They don’t do proper installation on heat tape and insulation lines. I literally lost a week of sleep over the bad work they did knowing they would take offence which is what ultimately happened when Steve came into my home to intentionally damage my furnace and he did.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND action plumbing and heating for ANY type of work. They set up their work to fail so u will have to call for a plumber to fix what they worked on. Their “guarantee” is the catch that will make it seem like you will call them back for the failure on your home and make it seem like it wasn’t them so they can gouge and bill you again and likely have something break or damage something else to get you to call them back for failure of the ”other” repair. They are a shady company. Let this be your first and final warning of issues you will have by calling them to work on your property. I may have to take them to court on this one.

Our experience(s) with Action Plumbing have been amazing! The people in the office respond quickly and are very helpful. Matt came out to Allan and did a major rehaul on our boiler system (which was someone else's work). He is VERY knowledgeable and helpful. He's also very trustworthy, having been left at our home while we are not there. I highly recommend this company (bigger bonus that they're local).

Unfortunately it won’t be a good one. After Chandler told me my AC unit was done for, he told me he’ll get me a quote on a new one. Did replace a fuse for his $340.00 collected. After he left it fired up and chilled off so much it gave me a cold. So 👎. Sure was happy to not have to spend the 7+ grand he said a new one would run. Tip. Check your fuse before you replace.
